The location was ideal, with easy access to both the lake and popular tourist attractions. We were impressed by the warm welcome we received, even though we arrived early in the morning. The staff went above and beyond by preparing a gluten-free breakfast for me, which was delicious. The room was spacious and had hot water in the shower, ensuring our comfort. We also took advantage of the laundry service, which was convenient and efficient.

For dads, it would be great to have additional child-friendly amenities or activities available for families with children.

I recently stayed at Black Pepper in Udaipur for 5 nights as a solo traveler. The hosts, Dudi, Muki, and Durga, were amazing and made me feel at home. They provided great local advice, from things to do to finding a delicious dessert. The central location was quiet, with a rooftop area offering a relaxing view of the lake. The room was spacious, clean, and good value for money. They even helped me out when I left my necklace behind, sending it safely to Jodhpur.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had a fantastic time during my stay at the Black Pepper Home Stay. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the nearby attractions. The room and building were impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The family who runs the place were so helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check in early and providing me with useful tips. They even offered cooking classes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had a convenient and enjoyable experience at this cozy accommodation.

    Would recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing time at Black Pepper! The whole guesthouse was clean, our room was comfortable, and the shower was heated by solar panels. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the pumpkin masala. The cooking class was a great experience, with the friendly teachers helping us make chai, pakoras, and more. The family running the guesthouse were incredibly helpful, even assisting us with getting an Indian SIM card. we felt welcomed and at home during our stay.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The value for money at this homestay was fantastic, our room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect, central yet peaceful, with a beautiful rooftop area overlooking the lake. The staff, especially Dudi, Muki, and Durga, were incredibly helpful.

The only thing that could have been better was the menu for breakfast.

Spotless, spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Always had hot water during colder season. Centrally located, walking distance to major attractions. Wonderful family, smart and fun children. Best food in town. Helpful recommendations and daily chats.

Perfect location in the heart of the old town, close to the lake and important landmarks. The cozy room had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. We also appreciated the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel at home.

There were some inconsistencies in the information provided by the owner. For example, when we asked about a specific shop, we were told it didn't exist, but later found out that the owner had a friend who owned a similar shop.
